Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! This is my 22nd year teaching, all in 3rd and 4th grade. This will be my 18th year at Ryan! I grew up in Louisville, CO, and attended UNC where I played softball and got my degree in Psychology and Elementary Education. I completed my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at the University of Northern Colorado and completed my English as a Second Language Endorsement in 2010. My husband teaches Physical Education in the Boulder Valley School District. We have 4 kids. Grady is 13, Laine is 11, Ava is 9 and Anna is 6. We are sports fans and have season tickets to the CU Buffs football games, I drive the shuttle service for all the kids sports, football, baseball, softball, and golf, and when I have a spare second, I love to read! I am so excited for a wonderful school year!

I am so fortunate to be a third grade teacher at Ryan Elementary. I have taught 22 years, all of which have been here at Ryan. I love the community at Ryan and the wonderful staff that I work with. I was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. I left Pueblo to continue my education at The University of Northern Colorado and finished my teaching licensure at Metro State College of Denver. After that, I went on to pursue my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology from Regis University. I enjoy watching and playing sports, spending time with family and friends and traveling to new places whenever we have the opportunity. I am so glad to be your child's teacher and hope that I can inspire them to be their best and teach them a love for learning!

I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade at Ryan Elementary. This is my 3rd year teaching, my second year at Ryan. Last year I taught 5th grade and then the year before I taught a 3rd/ 4th grade class. I graduated in 2020 with my Master's in Elementary Education from Metropolitan State University of Denver. When I am not teaching I love spending time with my two kitties Freyja and Odin. I enjoy reading and working out with friends at F45. I am so glad to be your child's teacher! I look forward to making memories and helping facilitate a love of learning!
